Running Routes from Our Community
Our latest routes are a series of cultural running experiences through the lens of the diverse running community of New York City. We are splitting the route into two segments: On the Run and After the Run, to show you things you’ll see while you’re on the route as well as places where you can experience the food and the culture of the neighborhood during your cool-down.
Roosevelt Island to Roosevelt Avenue by Adobo Social and Anti-Social Athletic Club
On this running route, we’ll explore Roosevelt Island, Astoria, and Woodside, Queens through the perspective of Jud Santos, the founder of Adobo Social and Anti-Social Athletic Club.
Queens is one of the most culturally diverse areas in the world, and Jud takes us on a 5.5-mile run through the borough, ending in what’s affectionately known as Little Manila to discover the rich Filipino community in Woodside.
Sunset Park and Brooklyn’s Chinatown by {chinatown} runners
Run through Brooklyn with Tony Cheong, a Sunset Park native, and Victoria Lo, the founder of {chinatown} runners.
On this route, you’ll run 5 miles from Park Slope to Sunset Park, home of Brooklyn’s Chinatown, with plenty of post-run food spots waiting for you at the finish.
